The Myth of Thanksgiving

In the 17th century England did not allow people to have religious freedom. Religious groups who did not want to follow the Church of England began to try to leave the country. 102 passengers bordered a ship called the Mayflower in the town of Plymouth, England and set sail across the Atlantic Ocean. The journey lasted 66 long and uncomfortable days. But for the Europeans it was a newly discovered and unknown place.
