The Holstot culture stretched from Slovakia to the Netherlands. It was a network, or rather, a series of networks that connected elite groups in different places. Specific, high-value goods moved along those networks; so did individuals and groups. The more dense these connections were, the more we should expect them to share individual interactions with each other.
