The Universal Foundation: A Holistic Approach to Care
Michelle: Some people are really just trying to capture what they would say is a holistic and important approach to the care of the patient. We shouldn't be making statements of values with somebody else's precious time that can be spent with patients, she says. Doug: Just building off of what Michelle was saying, that's why we were very intentional with how we learned about creating this universal foundation. "We're trying to find measures that wouldn't have unintended consequences," he adds.
