Uber is trying to skirt the regulations that taxis have to follow. They're just an app that links drivers and sellers, never mind that they pay the drivers. There are lots of these sorts of tactics that lawmakers use to slip things into bills to get passed. "Hidden provisions in legislation" really ticks me off because it's being done at the hands of those who are responsible for protecting the system," he says.
