The Importance of Monetization in Tail Hedging
How does that waterfall of cash flow ultimately work across the portfolio? How are you expecting them to monetize what sort of instructions do you give them? And then what do you expect to do with the cash as it comes back to you? So we kind of reverse engineer. I just try to really understand the niche that our managers fulfill and what their strategy entails. We don't try to tell them how to trade. This is their expertise. This is what their team does. It's interesting, like classical tail risk, if you have that deep out of the money protection, we've mainly only seen three or four events in 30-40 years.
