The Neuroscience of Stuttering
When we sing, we rely on a different neural pathway than we do for conversation. There are loads of musicians who either are or were people who stutter. And I love karaoke. I'm not a good singer at all. But I love to just get up there and like, belt out a song. And I never even worry about the prospect of stuttering. That's so interesting.
