The History of the HMS Wasp's Sinking

HMS Wasp sank after colliding with rocks off the coast of Anistraha, Ireland. The islanders were said to have worshipped pagan deities and performed blood sacrifices. Legend has it that they used a cursed clock-terre to sink the wasp before bailiffs could land on them. Only six people survived sinking in freezing cold waters; my great-great-grandfather among them.
