Do You Think It's a Shortcut?
I would say in shortcuts often, but often they're also just lack of experience. And understanding why, I learn by example a lot of times and I learn by my mistakes. Unfortunately, there's a huge cost when people learn things on a fortune 500's dime When it comes to building the system. It might not intentionally be a shortcut. But if you're going to copy and paste my code without understanding that the reasons why I did that, then we are switching from conscious shortcut or whatever we want to call it to unintentional replication of something very, very silly.
