The Relationship Between Oral Tradition and Folklore

I was privileged to design a book for the confederated salish tribes in montana about their encounter with the loos and clark expedition. And as I got to sit down with some of the tribal elders and ask them about their version of sashquatch, it was fascinating but they're incredible thing about that One of the anthropologists who was working with the tribe Uh has noticed their oral history is impeccable In many cases. So I don't think we can we can discount it. We have to we have to give it an adequate hearing and examine it against the evidence that we have Physically to prove or disprove these things. It's always different depending on the culture.
