What they were finding is they were very, verygo at recruiting a representative class of entry level officers. But if you fass forward 12, 13 years in when people were finally being considered to their equivalent of promotion to general officer o senior intelligence service,. A lot of the women had disappeared. The people of color had disappeared. And so the study was really a systematic look at where are the barriers? What is the experience that is causing people to leave? Whether its lack of mentorship or sponsorship, whether its implicit bias, whether its requirements that basically make it impossible for women to have any children
