The Politics of Hardy's Language Choices
Louise Creakin: One of the biggest tropes in hardy is when you have a supposedly lesser traditionally educated character up against an educated character. Well, perhaps in the May of cast of the book, and that could be attributed to various things it could be a literary trend. Louise Creakin: It's still around I mean it was around the BBC I think it was a BBC program that was called Sydney down in the 1970s where there were all you know acoustic guitars and strong Lancashire accents.
