The Four Quartets: A Christian Poem
When you read the wasteland, you see a certain cynicism or skepticism. The image of man and woman in the Four Quartets is very different. There's one where he takes this passage from an earlier poet about a marriage festival to communicate something noble and good. He refers to the sacrament of matrimony as a dignified and commodious sacrament. And then the second would be the possibility of transcendence.
