Quentino did it because Roger Avery directed Killing Zoe, his other friend directed Boogie Boy that worked at the video archives. John Waters crew, like Divine, Edith Massey, Susan Lowe, Cookie Mueller, these people became underground fringe celebrities because John Waters hit it. And none of the movies that we're going to be talking about today did become hits or became, you know, underground,. But I think they're interesting as kind of offshoots of Kevin Smith's reflections and trying to do their own thing.
