If you want your ideas taken seriously by the side of your community, you have to get your work published in a journal. There are hurdles that people have to jump through to be able to get their work published in journals. And for some reason, like I'm not sure why, but people, they want to take on the biggest theories. But there are many separate lines of evidence that support the current theory of the Big Bang.
