The Guardian's Gabby Hinsliff and Pippert Krewar look back at the best and worst of 2022. The year has been yet another chapter in politics fragmenting and wildly flailing around, with a sense that everything really has fallen over. While the UK has got collective whiplash from the speed of political change going on elsewhere in the world, I'm sure 2022 will be remembered as the year that Russia invaded Ukraine - which is still ongoing. We zoom through three prime ministers and you end the year with a huge wave of strikes. That's the year in three quick acts and no more than about 16 words. Amazing.
