The Importance of Age Congruence in Radiology

I'm particularly fond of the term age congruent in reports to try and just say it doesn't look normal but it is not unexpected for the patient's age. You know when we get older things do ache more so I think you can't write it off as completely normal if a patient presents with an old spine. There probably is something in it that when it looks like it does when it's older it's it hurts or it's you know aches background pain.
