Far too many preachers are nothing more than little boys who long for the fame that's found from a sold off episode of a reality television show. Most preaching to day is pitiable and lacks any hint of masculinity or power. Clear convictions actually bring about powerful sermons. And when one has to nuance every idea after carefully examining and surveying the emotional tolerance level of the weakest among us, all the power of the preaching his gone. When was the last time you left your local church on the lord's day convicted to increase your prayer life, spend time disciplining, discipling rather your family, and growing in your passion and understanding of god's word?
