This is sustaining whole economies, whole communities at this point, right? I mean, I don't know how much. These camps are effectively brutal and turn to camps. Gulag's concentration camps, slave camps, people are held in bamboo cages. Sometimes on the ships, they would just toss people over. They were making so much money that they had little regard for their human cargo that was dying. It really just blew me away.
