I missed my friends at school in New York. I wanted to turn back around and get on a plane and go home dozens of times. Once I got more settled, I did meet a guy who lived in Melbourne. He was Turkish and we were pretty much dating for the majority of my time. We didn't have any of the same classes, but I met him because he worked at the coffee shop on my campus. It was just so intense.
