California Wildfires

California is ranked as the US state most prone to wildfire. Over two million households are at extreme risk at any time. Wildfires can spark from a variety of sources, but these accidental causes are only responsible for a very low percentage of fires. Many more turn out to be deliberate acts of arson. Each year, thousands of fires destroy hundreds of thousands of acres and cause millions in damages.
