Three artificial beings were destroyed by humans during a rally in Washington, D.C. The AIs belong to a local nonprofit charged with outreach to the city's ever-growing homeless human population. It is becoming increasingly popular for humans to form bonds with artificially intelligent beings even though they aren't human.
