Is There a Uniform Prior, or Is That the Right Choice?

If you have a model where the most influential century occurring at some point crowds out it occurring at later points, you end up with this diminishing probability over time as to when it happens. And i think there's an argument that karl shorman made explicitly, that he was saying that a model where an earlier event could crowd out a later event is wrong. What we should do is have the prior that went all the way along and diminished, and cut that prior and re scale it instead of now deciding that the bias towards zero doesn't exist or something like that. So what may be like a large proportion of the events that would qualify for being the most important in human history are extinction events
