The Cycle Time of a Software Development Project

When you have a team of, for example, 20 software engineers, you do have normally a software project manager or in the skrum environment. And then it's more normal that I, as a software architect, a system architect go to the software, architects, specialists and say, okay, this is what I'm actually thinking about. Take a look, discuss it with your team, maybe put it in your next print, maybe get some feedback on first implementation or whatnot. So yeah, then you have this normal cycle time, but then we are talking about development project which are running about 12 to 18 months.
