Rebuke Someone, but They Don't Do It!
Don't rebuke someone in a way that you'll embarrass them, says the rambam. Don't whiten their faces shame when you're trying to do a mizu. And don't give him a nickname. We have to rebuke them in a sensitive way, in a respectful way,. In a way that will actually prompt them to rectify their ways. What if the person is not capable of hearing your rebuke? Well, in that case, it's a mi the ways of the pious, says the Rambam. Forgive them silently, forgive them in your heart and not rebuke them.
