The Power of Ignorance

Esther finds herself in the context of this. She didn't choose, but she's doing quite well. People are predisposed toward helping her. So she has become now isolated in the palace and a bit ignorant of what's going on. Outside of the palace wall, she's become somewhat insulated in her own little world. And so do we. We too might not be up on the news because one can become isolated and somewhat insulated in the process of pursuing our degrees.We are not bad people. We just haven't heard the news on the street lately.
