The plants are capable of mining metals far more successfully and in harmony with the earth than we are. The researchers that i work with in Greece they're actually doing something called phyto mining which is that they're planting these plants on open fields not old industrial sites but where there is this rich nickel content already there. They let the plants grow and then they harvest the plants and then you can get them metal back out of the plants again.
