Awakening the Bodhisattva
The Bodhi tree does not hesitate to call up its forces we may not picture it in quite this vivid way but it's exactly the same forces at work that assailed the Bodhisattva. Thomas Merton another great Christian trappist among and hermit lived for a long time at Gethsemani Abbey in Kentucky. He was really a great seeker of the truth and made some very important connections with Buddhism later in his life.
