Melissa McCarley also was admittedly scared to sing the song. She literally ate that up and brought so much character and charm to it. I'm really with the use of like vocal coach and training and stuff like that. Like she doesn't sound bad at all. But like she's not someone who sings like often or for a living or anything like that. So there's probably also that pressure alongside the fact that the original is just perfect and nobody's gonna be better than that.
