Con-Linging and the Changes in the Academic World

Con-langing has changed a lot in the last 15 years or so. It was interesting to see how people involved in academia, whether in linguistics or in speech acquisition, actually look at what we are doing seriously rather than seeing it as a waste of time and something that you should be ashamed ofdoing. That panel made it really clear how much of a change there has been in the last decade or so.
