Is Rocket League a Good Esports?

I think League has that perfect balance of spectator sport where you can kind of explain things if a friend's watching with you. And I was like, oh, okay, let's try watching the esports of this and I just could not follow. The only thing in my mind that makes fighting games like not a great spectating is they're over too fast. They are massively hype. Just seeing the crowds like scream and jump around whenever anyone's doing anything... It's literally Pikachu fighting junely path.
