The normal protein-decrement ratio is 0.25, and this patient has 12 grams of that. He does have some renal dysfunction, but there was no blood in the five red cells in the urine. What I would do, as we're waiting for the PT, PTT to come back is we usually try to doing a serologic workup. We'll check, asapupep, make sure there's no myeloma. ANA, look for lupus, get hepatitis profile.
