Healthcare Delivery Organizations and Medical Devices Connected to the Internet

A big driver behind cybersecurity and medical devices has been to protect the patient. A hospital doesn't have a ton of medical devices that are connected to the internet. So from their perspective, it doesn't change a lot. This law doesn't try and mitigate any threats from devices that are already out there.
