John Stewart and the evolutionary world view
Thing in itself
The Evolutionary Goal Is to Spread to Higher Cognition
The evolutionary goal is to spread higher cognition and the capacity to be self-evolving across millions of humans. How can we do that? How can we get the resources and so on? And I went through how it was mercantileism, not philosophers, not religions, but incentivized the development of analytical rational cognition which drove the first enlightenment. So if you can develop an escalator that moves people to metasystemic cognition, then the market will beat a path to your door. It'll be far more monetizable, monetizable, than a new better mousetrap or a better taste in breakfast cereal.
