The immediate cause of the shortage is a recall of a lot of product from abit laboratories. Four producens control 90 % of the market. There are some up and comman producers, including one that just does organic formula. It's crazy that there isn't some system for allowing that kind of formula into the united states in a time like this. And then you have thi situation where formulas that approve in europe are not allowed in here. The idea that you can't do it or don't want to do it in the way you want them to be fed is terrifying. I mean, fraud is the word in all because feeding a child under any circumstances is an extraordinarily emotional thing
