CHAPTER

A Poem About Memory

i'm really interested in the mix you have between memory an elegy. Years ago, i went to noho star with some poets and cecil taylor. Nohos star is closed now, and c Cecil died yesterday. I walked. There's this, you know, the walking is almost part of what the poem is doing. It's kind of a walk. And i love the idea of a poem as a kind of walk or otion through the world.
