How to Target Trauma in Therapy
The present moment hasn't disconfirmed the fear of the past. So why would I misremember and suddenly betray what the trauma taught me? Yeah. And for good reason, because if those experiences showed me that a part of myself was not safe to have or to intentionally disintegratewould be a survival positive experience. That is just so vertical. Split the brain in half and we've organized it in tears bottom up. Okay. We can target the primary body process, the way that we are homeostatically regulating ourselves. Like it can go that deep and primary. yeah.
