Design Runs the Boardroom

Brian Stearns: I never dreamed of being an entrepreneur growing up. He says he wanted to be an artist and a designer, but didn't know what he was going to do after RISD. In 2007, his friend Joe called him saying they were starting a company in San Francisco. They turned their house into a bed and breakfast for a design conference; the rest is history. "I think every entrepreneur has had a few stories like this," said Stearns.
