The US patent and trademark office, there are more than 11.5 million patents that is not counting patents that were lost in a fire in 1836. The system for converting television commercials into interactive network video games was created by an inventor named Gary M. Zalowiski. Sony already applied for the patent as early as 2009,. And it was granted in August 2021.
