The natural world is not changing or becoming smarter from the outside world at the rate at which AI seem to be. The question of what it means to get smarter so to speak is a little bit tricky because you know you can have a computer do all kinds of computations. Most of those computations are things where we humans have no reason to care about and they're in the direction that humans are going, he says.
