The Rise and Fall of the Russian Volunteer Corps

The Russian volunteer corps is a hard right paramilitary formation with overt neo-Nazi sympathies. In early March RVC launched a deadly armed incursion into Brienz where they entered Russian territory. The group recorded at least two videos threatening the Kremlin and calling upon sympathetic Russian citizens or disaffected Russian citizens to rise up and take up arms against the government.
