Work Is Not Work Unless You Hate It
I think for Asian people, work is sweeping the floor in the restaurant that you own after the dishwasher goes home. Because it's your restaurant and you're making money. Why aren't you sweeping the floor and washing the dishes? Yeah. It's like this physical, painful, humiliating, degrading thing. And so, yeah, there's a part of that. I've actually talked to my therapist about this too.
