In the western American evangelical, white church we really do gather as if we are just disembodied brains. We don't think our bodies matter. And yet you see that throughout the scriptures as well. So anyway, i thank you for sharing that, and i do encourage people to go and read that element of the book. It's a metaphor for what you're trying to describe, ifh childlike faith.
