The French Revolution of 1791 - The First Strike at Separating the Good Revolution From the Evil Ones of 1789

The committee of 11 worked up the draft for the new constitution in 17 92. They were trying to separate the bad revolution of august tenth 17 92, from the good revolution of july 17 89. The debate over whether you can actually do this is one of the longest running debates in the historiography of the french revolution. This constitution was prefaced, as usual, by a declaration of rights in 22 specific bullet points.
