I think so many of us have just lived such privileged comfortable lives that we've known even had a storm we don't even notice like for our worldview to be just ripped from us. I told him it's like look in America you can actually get away with it in the West you can get away withIt for a good a good amount of time. But when push comes to shove you're going to really figure out what you believe and sometimes it takes that pain Sometimes it takes the suffering to be like oh my gosh why do I believe what I believe here and that inconsistency there.
