COVID Hackathon - A Fun Side Hustle
When I left ACS, I was thinking like, I need to, this is my passion. And it seems that this is something that probably during COVID, people would be more interested. In 10 days, we were able to get around 2000 participants in majorly Australian New Zealand. That was the aha moment, the beginning of thinking about running hackathons. So then it became an startup. We got funded by the government. We also got some investors. And we were building the platform right now. It is an innovation sort of an end to end innovation platform which will enable people to come up with some interesting innovative solutions for problems.
