The Five Concentric Circles of the Ecological Systems Theory
According to Bronford Brenner's ecological systems theory that our bodies exist in a context. Our healing, or our difficulty with healing, is also rooted in the larger systems we are a part of. In trauma language, we call this pre-parry and post-traumatic factors. These change from generation to generation and include values and identities required for shared membership in a culture. All of those concentric circles I've mentioned are situated within the largest, the fifth concentric circle, the crona system. This is environmental events, socio-historical circumstances, and the major shifts in a person's life that can change everything,. like a birth, a death, or a big tea trauma
