The Effects of Training Status on Hypertrophy Responses
The way that we're looking at volume is the actual stimulating reps from form. Counting volume for beginners, probably going to be able to do a little more volume and continue to see big hypertrophy responses. As you progress into the intermediate stage, doing something like a chest press, you could probably count that as a set for chest and then half a set for deltas or triceps all depending.
