How Do You Teach Well?

How do you build that teaching skill or the muscle? I guess just doing it a lot. A lot of this is honestly what you leave out and what you focus on. It's not empathy like, Oh, I understand your feelings and I can sort of like model your emotions,. But more like I can create a pretty accurate model of what is going to work for you.
