The Disconnect Between Public Service Public Opinion Surveys and Indian Democracy

The Pew survey the famous Pew survey on religion in India were basically calling them that Indian live segregated life but they're tolerate each other. There's not much support for intermingling in all of that so it is not uh I mean I it sounds like a liberal kind of tolerance where very pretty much intermingling and mixing mix of traditions and values is accepted. The median voter is not supportive of some of these acts in the survey, he says. He suggests there is a big disconnect between this scholarly discourse on Indian democracy and the public surveys on Indian democracy.
