We need to recognize that emotions are just feelings. The more we try to avoid or suppress it, the longer it will hang around. Emotions don't go away but we'll show up in other ways. We need to find physical ways to let them through and I know for me that sometimes when I'm feeling an incredibly strong emotion, both positive and negative, I'll often cry when I just let it pass through me. That's what I need to release all of that energy."
